Scope and Contents Typed interview dated 9 May 2002. Harms was drafted into the Red Cross in 1940-1 and served in a field hospital in Russia in 1942. In this interview, she talked about her training and the conditions she faced in Russia. She was captured by the Americans at the end of the war and imprisoned with the men until she was recognized as being a woman.
