Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript. The item is an autobiography of William Theobald. Also included is an index to the item. Theobald was born in England in 1813 and worked on his father's farm until he was sixteen years old. He later became a carpenter and a wheelwright and served in the British navy from 1836 to 1840. He married Martha Lane in 1841, joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1848, and migrated to Utah in 1851. He worked as a police officer...
