Scope and Contents Interview conducted by an unknown person probably in 1985 for the Ray Hillam military history project. Gunnell served as an English instructor at the United States Air Force Academy when he was deployed to Vietnam in 1969. He flew cargo aircraft in Vietnam, and he told about various missions he flew during the war. He and his crew often flew from six different bases each day flying materiel from one place to another. Scope and Contents

Transcript of a interview conducted by Jim Keezell in 1985 for the Ray Hillam project. Powers was the wife of Allen Powers who served for the United States Marine Corps in Vietnam. Carolyn told about her life when her husband was stationed in Vietnam. She went to Okinawa to be closer to her husband when he was in Vietnam. Carolyn said it was a good learning experience to live in another culture in Okinawa.
