The ancestral lineage of Elias Willis Howell, Fairview, Utah
Traces seven generations of Elias W. Howell's paternal ancestry. Includes maps, pictures, and other copied documents. Elias's parents joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New York, 1841-42. Elias crossed the plains to Utah in 1852 and settled in North Bend (subsequently named Fairview) in 1860.

The collection also includes an English and a Russian copy of his novel "Jivoglot," a Russian draft of the novel, and other material on Bellison, 1910-1953.

The microfilm was made by the Kansas State Historical Society in Topeka, 1975, where the original papers are held. The papers include correspondence, newspaper clippings, and political cartoons, dated September-November 1954.
