Also includes a transcript of Edward Partridge's journal, as well a bound volume of copies of The "Y" News from September 5, 1926 to May 5, 1927.

Scope and Contents These 49 diaries consist of notations made by Partridge in almanacs. The information recorded consists of the observations on the weather; farming and stockbreeding activities; births, deaths, and marriages in the community; and the visits from or to friends and family members. While the diaries cover the years 1781 to 1836, the diaries for the following years are missing: 1783, 1784, 1785, 1787, 1788, 1790, 1791, 1794, 1798, 1801, and 1814.
