Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography with family records apparently also copied by Steel. James Steel converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1854. He later settled in Tooele County, Utah. Steel entered into polygamy in 1874. Also included are ordinations and patriarchal blessings of family members. Steel also writes about his visions and dreams.

Typewritten articles and essays with handwritten corrections. These items were written by various members of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers in Tooele County, Utah, to be used in the "HIstory of Tooele County" published in 1961.

Some of the correspondence is between Smith and her mother when Ruby served as a nutritionist for the Red Cross at San Francisco and Richmond, California from 1942 to 1944. Hendricks and his wife, Eliza.

Handwritten "statement of the amount donated by the citizens of Tooele County for the purpose of repairing the state road west of Jordan Bridge." The donation was made in produce which value was $836. The date of the item is uncertain.
