Also contains Hill and Richards family books and a detailed history on the John Kenny and Agnes Hill Richards families and the Alexander Hill and Elizabeth Currie Hill families(the grandparents and great-grandparents of Emma Richards Facer, Joseph's wife).

Abstract

The collection contains the journals of J. Warren Johnson before and after his mission to the Southern States during the years 1895-1899. It also contains the journals while he was serving as a Mutual Improvement Missionary in Wasatch County, Utah. The Journals are organized chronologically. The collection contains material on the Southern States Mission during the years 1895-1899 and of the Mutual Improvement Program along the Wasatch front from 1901-1902.

Contains autobiographical writings and family records pertaining to members of the Orrin Orlando Barrus and Mary Elizabeth Clark family, created between the years 1897 and 1961 in Utah. Information regarding their personal lives and ecclesiastical work are presented. Included are letters, diaries, and photographs of Orrin, Mary, their children, and their grandchildren. Also contains documents pertaining to Fred A. Turley and Edward Stevenson. Materials created 1897 to 1961.

The collection contains the journals, notebooks, and documents of Hugh Roberts while serving a mission in the Southern States from April 1899 - July 1901. Typescripts of the collection have been made by Brian C. Roberts and are contained in the collection.
