Smith's "diploma of high school grade" given by the General Board of Education of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which gave the holder a license to teach in any of the seminaries or schools of the Church. Signed by David O. McKay, Stephen L. Richards, Richard R. Lyman, and Adam S. Bennion, who served as Commissioners of the Board. Dated March 15, 1921.
