John Carrick Greene letter to Phinehas Richards

Handwritten-and-signed letter. Greene made general reference to recent difficulties and encouraged Richards to "continue in the ministry of the word." A clerical note penciled on the verso of the letter gives the date, 1 April 1839. Another clerical note refers to a typewritten transcript of the letter having been made on 24 September 1894.
