Typescript of an autbiography edited by Helen C. Stark in 1963. Louisa Hasler writes about her conversion to the Mormon Church; her association with her brother-in-law, Hans Ulrich Winkler; her migration to Utah; and her life in Mt. Pleasant. Also included is a typed autobiography of Louisa's husband, John Hasler. John writes about his association with Hans Ulrich Winkler, his conversion to the Mormon Church, his migration to Utah, and his life in Mt. Pleasant.

Scope and Contents

Typewritten copies of letters, blessings, and a diary. The four letters were sent to Albert's brother, Wilford Winkler, when Wilford was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Switzerland. These items are from Albert and his wife, Emma Fowles Winkler. Also included are five Mormon Church blessings given to Emma and Albert. The diary covers the years 1907-8 and covers the time when Albert was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Switzerland.
