Handwritten autobiography and a photocopy of the item. McBride was born in England, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with his parents in 1856, and migrated to Utah. McBride writes about migrating to Utah in the ill-fated handcart company led by Edward Martin. He tells about the hardships he and his family faced.
