James Keeler diaries

Scope and Contents

Photocopy of handwritten diaries. Keeler writes about his activities while serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hawaii from 1850 to 1855 and from 1876 to 1878. Keeler also writes about his life in Utah as a carpenter and farmer. Also included is a diary of Eliza Shelton Keeler, James' wife, which she kept from 1891 to 1902. The Keelers lived much of the time in Richfield, Utah.
