Holographic study notes from courses taken at Brigham Young Academy in 1884 and in 1890. These materials came from chemistry, geology, logic, and Latin classes. Some of the notes were taken in Pitman shorthand.

Contains the notebook Alice Louise Reynolds used while a student at Brigham Young Academy. Includes notes from courses on teaching, including theory, history of education, and educational systems. Written in cursive. Inscribed by Reynolds with the date of August 8, 1889 and the words "Senior Theory" on the inside cover.

Contains first-hand accounts and retrospective articles on the South American Expedition. Includes diaries, correspondence, field notes, and articles. Much of the material focuses on the contributions of Benjamin Cluff Jr. and Chester G. Van Buren. Collection was compiled by Vasco M. Tanner, and includes his own research and writing on the expedition.
