Handwritten biography of Anne Kristin Smoot and a photocopy of it. The item was written by an unnamed daughter of Anne Smoot. Anne came from Norway and married Abraham O. Smoot. The biography contains information concerning the temporal and spiritual experiences of Anne Smoot.

Typescript of the "History of Sophia Lewis Jewkes." The author of the item is unknown and the date of composition is uncertain. Sophia was a convert to the Mormon Church, a pioneer to Utah, and a nurse and a midwife in that state.

Bound typewritten autobiography of Mary Woolley Chamberlain. Mary lived in St. George, Kanab, Provo, and Salt Lake City, Utah. She gives detailed accounts of family life, Mormon Church activities, and events in these towns and in Utah in general from her birth to 1936 when she wrote her history. This record was compiled, typed, and put with genealogy work-sheets and photographs probably in 1981. Also included are tributes to Mary by family members.

Typewritten biography of Mary Ann Brown Clark (1859-1962). Mrs. Dixon writes about Mary Clark, who died at the age of 103 and was thought to have been the oldest woman in Utah at that time. Mrs. Dixon relates the experiences of Mary Clark while she was living in Pleasant Grove, Panguitch, St. George, and Provo, Utah.

Photocopy of handwritten biographical sketches of family members. Cordelia Cox writes about Emeline Whiting Cox, Emma Peterson Cox, Jemima Losee Cox, Lydia Losee Cox, Frederick Walter Cox, and Isaac Morley. Also included is Cordelia Cox's testimony to the truthfullness of the Mormon faith. She also writes about her experiences as a plural wife of Frederick Cox.

Photocopies of a microfilm copy of a typescript. The materials are biographies of members of the Crawford and Hansen families. These people were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most of them lived in Rockville and Oak Creek, Utah.

Typewritten biographies of John Hafen and his wife, Lenora Knight Hafen, written by their children including Orval Hafen and Arthur K. Hafen. John and Lenora were Mormons living in southern Utah.
