Robert Walter Weir correspondence, 1830-1884
Correspondence of Robert Walter Weir, dating from around 1830 to 1884 in West Point and Glasgow. The letter are primarily from James Walter Weir, brother William Henry Weir, and former drawing student at West Point. Also included is an envelope addressed to Professor and Mrs. Weir with newspaper articles concerning rare coins.

Contains the papers of various members of the Weir family, including Robert Walter Weir (1803-1889), John F. Weir (1841-1926), and Julian Alden Weir (1852-1919) and others. Contains correspondence, diaries, scrapbooks, manuscripts, speeches, artwork, clippings, and published material relating to the family, dating from between 1765 to 1952. The bulk of the collection relates to Julian Alden Weir.
William Bayard Weir riddle book, 1878 March
Contains a riddle book belonging to William Bayard Weir, dated circa March 1878. Riddles are collected by famous authors on various subjects including scriptures and anagrams. The joke book was made by William's sister-in-law, Anna C. Weir and six envelopes contain loose papers found between pages of the book.
