Carbon copy of a typewritten essay. Livingston recounts the murders of two Mormon misisonaries and their protectors at Condor's Farm, Cane Creek, Tennessee, on 10 Aug. 1884. She also relates how the bodies were retrieved by her father, B. H. Roberts, while he was disguised as a common tramp.

Scope and Contents Typewritten copies of diaries. The journals were typed by Thomas' son, Daniel H. Thomas, and entitled: "Preston Thomas: His Life and Travels." Daniel often provided introductory material between sections of the diaries. Most of the journals relate to the five missions on which he served for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
