Handwritten and signed certificate dated 11 Nov. 1833. Leonard certifies that Eduard Helmer is a faithful member of the local Presbyterian Church. The certificate is written on two pages of a folded sheet of paper. On the interior portion is found an apparent effort at writing a fictional romantic story.
