Ann Prior Jarvis diary and autobiography
Typewritten copy of a handwritten autobiography and diary. The autobiography was written in 1884 and tells of Jarvis' early life in England, her migration to Utah, and her move to St. George. Jarvis' diary covers the years 1884 to 1898. There are many gaps. She writes about the weather and her daily activities. Also included are patriarchal blessings of family members dating from 1875 to 1881. Most of them were given by William G. Perkins.

Contains letters to and from John Steele and his family, including his father, John Steele, Sr., his wives and children, including Mahonri Moriancumer Steele, grandchildren, as well as some extended family. Also includes some letters from friends and other personal acquaintances of John and Catherine Steele. Dated 1816-1922.
Luke S. Johnson diary
Photocopy of a typescript of a diary. The item was kept from 7 April to 29 July 1847 while the author accompanied the first group of Mormon migrants coming to Utah. The authorship is uncertain. It was written by "one of Luke S. Johnson's Ten."
Joseph Stevens Jones diary
Photocopies of a handwritten diary kept from 19 Feb. to 20 April 1853 while Jones was on board the "International" ship. Jones writes about Mormon Church activities during the crossing of the Atalantic from Liverpool to New Orleans, Louisiana.

Contains papers related to the ancestry of Julian William Cummings. Includes journals from his father and grandfather from missions of other experiences, as well as bound booklets on other ancestors in his family. Dated 1905-1997.
Charles Lambert autobiography
Typescript of an autobiography. Lambert was born in England; converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1843; moved to Nauvoo, Illinois, in 1844; migrated to Utah in 1849; and served on missions in England in 1870 and 1882. He also writes about the "Utah War" and about problems with swarms of crickets.
Land deed
Handwritten and signed deed documenting the purchase of 166.5 acres of land for $500. Accompanying the deed is a document, written by Isaac Higbee, certifying the deed's legality and file number in the Caldwell County Records Office.
