Contains letters written by Joseph E Creer while he was serving in the United States Navy during WWII, stationed in Panama. The letters are addressed to his wife, Florence. Materials are dated from 1940 to 1945.

"Kaigun Nikki" or "Navy Diary" created by the Japanese government for military personnel. Used by an unidentified Japanese military person who served in the Philippines during the Second World War. The printed diary is for 1942, but the entries are from 1943.
