Typed letters dated Sept. 22, 1969 and July 9, 1975 in Guatemala. These items are addressed to "family and friends" in Provo, Utah and describe the foundation's agricultural self-help project among the rural people of Guatemala. The letters also discuss other foundation matters.

Margaret McNeil Ballard autobiography

Typewritten copy of an autobiography. Ballard writes about her early life in Scotland as a Mormon, her migration to the United States in 1856 and her subsequent migration to Utah in 1859, and her life as a polygamous wife in Logan, Utah. Ballard also tells about encounters with Indians while coming to Utah, and when she was living in Logan.

Scope and Contents Materials include manuscripts of J.E. Broaddus' writing, photographs, newspaper clippings, correspondence, and J.E. Broaddus' research notes. There are also pamphlets, primarily about Utah and Mormon history, and some photograph albums. There is also a photocopy of a book by J. E. Broaddus from the Utah State University Special Collections. The book is "Report of U.E.R.A. Project No. S-F2-53: Archaeological and Paleontological Exploration." Photocopies of handwritten autograph books. Mina received greetings and well wishes from many prominent Utahns and leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Many of these items were written from the Utah State penitentiary by Church leaders incarcerated for polygamy.

Israel Justus Clark autobiography and diary

Photocopy of a typescript of a diary and an autobiography. Clark's diary covers the years from 1855 to 1857 when Clark served as a missionary to the Indians in the Salmon River Mission. Clark's autbiography tells about his life in Logan and Clarkston, Utah, and his contacts with Indians.
