The folder contains a printed mortgage bond number 546 of the Arlington Mining Company. The item states the bearer will be paid $100 on 1 August 1900.

Utah District Court bond for Brigham Young's will
This document was regarding the case of Emeline A. Young vs. George Q. Cannon, Albert Carrington, and Brigham Young Jr. (1836-1903) regarding the last will of Brigham Young (1801-1877). The document bound Brigham Young Jr. to appear in court or pay $5000 penalty. He was chared in contempt for disobeying an order to deliver property to the proper receiver. The item is dated 12 July 1879.
Bond to Harry Clench for one thousand dollars
Printed forms with handwritten notations. The collections includes Bond No. 3298 redeemable on Jan. 1, 1893 with six percent per annum interest secured by sixty thirty-dollar bonds, redeemable on Bond No. 3298 on Jan. 1 and July 1, 1863-1893.
Joseph Smith, Jr. bonds
Photocopies of handwritten and signed bonds. Three of the items are signed by Smith, date form 1839 and 1841, and relate to purchases of property in Nauvoo, Illinois. The fourth item is dated 27 Sept. 1845 and deals with Nathaniel Whiting transferring property.

Handwritten and printed bonds. These items relate to bail, taverns, and to the operation of other businesses.
James H. Martineau certificates
Printed and handwritten certificates, bonds, and commissions. The items document Martineau's commission in the Utah Militia, his appointment as the Sheriff of Iron County, Utah, and his position as an alderman of Parowan, Utah. Seven of the manuscripts were signed by Brigham Young (1801-1877), the second president of the Mormon Church.
Circuit Court recognizance
Handwritten bond dated September 7, 1838, signed by Joseph Smith, Jr. and others before Judge Austin King of the 5th Judicial Circuit Court. The bond was for $500.00 and bound Joseph Smith, Jr. and Lyman Wight over to the court.
