Four ALS's between Brayman and Winnemucca, chief of the Paiutes. Tells of a request by Chief Winnemucca to send visitors to the Bannocks and instructions concerning their travel by Brayman. Also includes a 1939 postmarked envelope which enclosed the correspondence at time of purchase.

Photocopies of handwritten and typewritten court records. The items document court cases against Mormons in Idaho. Most of these materials deal with how the Idaho court system treated Mormons in relation to their beliefs on polygamy and on other Mormon Church related doctrines and practices.

Handwritten and signed letters dated 28 Sept. 1854 and 27 May 1867. One item is from John H. Coon, in San Francisco, California, and tells about business matters and discusses mutual friends. The other letter is from George W. Converse, a resident of Idaho, and tells about mining, crops, food prices, and speculates about the possibility of an Indian war.

Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript. The manuscript is a history of the early settling of southern Idaho and northern Utah. Most of the early settlers were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Also included are biographies of the author's ancestors including David Jensen. David and his wife, Serena Peterson joined the Mormon Church in 1862 in Denmark. They came to Utah in 1863.

Scope and Contents These manuscripts are biographies and autobiographies of ancesters of Vera Price. These individuals include Lewis Dunbar Wilson Jr. and Sr., John Lingren (autobiography), and James Brown (by Gladys Brown White). Most of the biographies are short (several pages) typescripts.
