The interview was conducted by Arthur Chapman on August 8, 1984 as part of the Joint Oral History Program of the Brigham Young University Archives and the BYU Alumni Association Emeritus Club. Simmons talks about his education and his experiences teaching in the Brigham Young University Zoology Department.
