George Albert Wimmer questionnaire and photographs, 1942, 2001
Materials contain a brief response by George Albert Wimmer to the Saints at War questionnaire. He mentions the spiritual support received from fellow Latter-day Saints soldiers and describes the dedication of a Latter-day Saints chapel in San Antonio, Texas, in 1942. Included are photographs which show Wimmer in full military dress with his family as well as photographs of the Mesa, Arizona LDS temple. Dated 1942 and 2001.
George Arliss Willmore papers, 1961-1969
Material contains responses to the Saints at War Questionnaire answered by George Arliss Willmore's wife, Judy Willomore Reeser. Also contains the background history of the George Arliss Willmore Most Inspirational Athlete Endowment, a scholarship program founded by Willmore. Included are photocopied photographs, certificates, and newspaper articles of Willmore's service in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Dated 1961-1969.
