Scope and Contents

Contains poetry, plays, correspondence, and other original writings created by Octave F. Ursenbach. The many of the materials are religious in nature and reflect Ursenbach's faith as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Some of the materials relate to Ursenbach's personal life including his family. Also included is a small amount of publications collected by Ursenbach.

Scope and Contents Collection consists primarily of personal and family information, such as material regarding Ursenbach's Priesthood ordinations and service as an LDS missionary in the Northern States mission, as a Priesthood officer (bishopric, bishop, stake presidency, stake president) in the Lethbridge Stake, Alberta, Canada, as president over the Canadian Mission, and as president of the Alberta Temple.
