Scrapbook largely comprised of newspaper clippings relating to the United States war with Mexico, 1846 to 1848. Most of the items were clipped from newspapers of the time. The materials relate to the course and outcome of the war and to the personalities involved. Some of the items are in Spanish. The collection is believed to have been created by a Francis Kuhn.

LaGrande Brough papers, approximately 1994, 1943-1946
Materials include photographs and newspaper articles. Also included is an account detailing LaGrande Brough's service in the U.S. Navy as a bugler on the U.S.S. Wasatch during World War II. He describes going to Buglemaster's school in Idaho after basic training and, once assigned to the U.S.S. Wasatch, performing the bugel calls over the intercom. Dated 1943-1946, approximately 1994.
