Scope and Contents Photocopies of handwritten and typewritten genealogies, histories, biographies, and diaries. Most of the materials relate to Mormons in Emmett, Gem County, Idaho. Also included are diaries by James Smithies (1807-1879) and John Scott (1811-1876). Smithies' diary covers the years from 1846 to 1847 when he migrated to Utah.
