The materials include a typewritten draft of the book "Women Legislators of Utah, 1896-1976." The items relate to Abbott's political career and her association with women legislators in Utah and in the United States.
Contains certificate and award received by Ballif for work on the National Advisory Committee. Materials date from approximately 1964 to 1982.
Contains newsclippings, calendar, and other materials on awards received by Ballif from Brigham Young University, as well as the activities of the Sorosis Club. Materials date from between 1939 and 1940, and from 1975.

Photocopies of diaries, correspondence, and scrapbooks. The correspondence is largely between Carlos Badger and his wife Rose Jenkins Badger. Most of the diaries were kept while Badger served as personal secretary to the United States Senator from Utah, Reed Smoot. The materials deal with the congressional hearings dealing with Smoot, mormon polygamy, Mormon temple endowments, and the politics of both Utah and the United States
