Biography of Return Jackson Redden
Photocopy of a typewritten biography of Return Jackson Redden. Redden was born in 1790, joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, migrated to Utah with the first wave of Mormon pioneers in 1847, and settled in Grantsville, Utah. "This history was read at the February 9, 1970 meeting of Camp Dale in Castle Dale, Emery County, Utah, by Nita Hampshire."
Joshua Reuben Clark minutes
Photocopies of handwritten meeting minutes taken at the "Theology Class" or "School of the Prophets" in Grantsville, Utah. The class was addressed by the second president of the Mormon Church, Brigham Young (1801-1887), and other apostles and leaders of that church. Numerous topics relating to Mormon theology and doctrine were discussed as well as various issues on Grantsville.

Thomas Henry Clark record book
The volume relates to Clark's farming and personal accounts. It includes a list of tithing paid, work done, and services rendered to others. Also contains family records such as patriarchal blessings and lists of births and deaths; and occasional lists identifying marriages he performed, children he blessed, and other activities.
Early Tooele City history
Photocopies of typewritten histories, photographs, and maps. One item is a collection of quotes from Milton R. Hunter's book "Brigham Young: The Colonizer" dealing with Tooele, Utah. Another item is a history of the Grantsville, Utah, First Ward Church.

Hammond family biographies and diary
John Peter Johnson papers
Handwritten correspondence, diaries, notebooks, patriarchal blessings, certificates, an autobiography, and genealogical materials. The correspondence are between Johnson and his wife, Hana, and were written while Johnson was on a mission for the Mormon Church in Sweden. The diaries were kept while Johnson was on his mission and after his return to Ogden, Utah. The certificates deal with Johnson's numerous callings in the Mormon Church.
William Addington Martindale papers
The collection consists of photocopies of the original materials documenting the history of Duncan's Retreat, Utah, biographical information on William Addington Martindale, journal entries from William Martindale, and photographs. The folders are contained in one box.
Biographical sketch of Ether E. McBride
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typed autobiography. McBride was born in Scotland in 1848 and came to Utah by handcart in 1856. He did not specify which handcart company he travelled with. He lived in Ogden and later in Grantsville, Utah. He played with Indian children in the Ogden area and learned their language and customs.
