Scope and Contents Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. John Williams Grant was born in Millcreek, Utah, in 1865. Most of the account was taken from Grant's own writings. He herded sheep in Colorado and became involved in a range war between sheep herders and cattlemen. John was shot at several times and was nearly killed. He sold his sheep when he returned to Utah. Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. William Henry Grant was born in Mill Creek, Salt Lake County, Utah, in 1849. He lived in American Fork, Utah, married Mary Ann Preston in 1879, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mary and William had no children, but they raised Minnie Brown as their own daughter. He died in 1942.
