Contains four papers related to the life and activities of Kane. These include an unsent letter written by Elisha expressing his affection for one "Florence," a typed statement expressing his resolution not to court Zella Hays for three months in an effort to overcome his feelings for her, and noting his mother's disdain for those feelings, and two papers concerning camping. Materials date between 1891 and 1936.

Contains materials related to the life and activities of Kane. These consist of a medical ledger, and several papers. The ledger details patient names and bills, likely at Kane Summit Hospital. The papers concern daily activities at Kane Summit Hospital, and include an address on the benefits of asbestos surgical dressings given by Evan before the McKean County Medical Society. Materials date between 1895 and 1931.

Scope and Contents Photocopies of the handwritten diary of Reverend Benjamin Fry, a prominent Methodist minister, written between September 28, 1861, and August 4, 1863, while serving as a military chaplain to the 22nd Regiment of the Ohio Voluntary Infantry during the Civil War. At the end of the diary, Fry includes two pages of dates and corresponding scripture references, which seem to be topics for sermons he (and sometimes others) gave in three different camps during the war. Harriet Amelia Kane composition books, 1870-1882

Contains several composition books belonging to Kane as well as four blank postcards and a loose page of notes found in the composition books. The composition books are used for educational purposes, and contain primarily unsent letters from Kane to her mother and others. Later volumes also contain French and Spanish notes, as well as medical notes. The loose page of notes contains a list of alphabetized words, and the postcards depict wolves. Materials date from 1870 to 1882.

The letter from Carrie is dated 1891.
