The subseries contains manuscripts written and arranged by Robert P. Manookin for vocal performance. In accompaniment, the works are written for piano or organ. Other accompaniments are written for various string and horn instruments. The pieces are mostly spiritual, accompanied by a few secular songs. Dates range approximately 1952-1991.

Contains materials related to Roland and Sybil Vincent and their three children (Janise, Roland Brent, and Colleen): one folder per child, containing newspaper clippings and/or funeral proceedings (Janise and Brent were unfortunately killed in car crashes in 1952 and 1949 respectively; Colleen was stillborn). Materials dated 1949-1952.

Contains journals and notebooks belonging to Kane, as well as manuscripts, letters, passports, and other materials. Items include lists of Kane's everyday dealings, his poetic and philosophical writings, his last will and testament, and his obituary. Materials date between 1839 and 1884.
