Scope and Contents This manuscript is a photocopy of a handwritten document. Its author was Guadalupe Monroy, but the record is in the hand of Rosa Jimenez Vda de Montoya because of the clarity with which she wrote. The material for the bulk of the contents of the source comes from the author's own memories and from the correspondence of her brother Rafael Monroy who served as first counselor in the branch presidency. Valuable information was also given by Anando Paez Cano who was one of the first converts...

Abstract

This collection is a photocopy of a ninety-six page handwritten history of the San Marcos branch in Tula, Hidalgo, Mexico from 1925-1926. It was written by Maria Guadalupe Monroy and details missionary efforts, conferences, and other events of the ward at the time. The included appendix was written in May 1962 and is Monroy’s conversion story and pieces of her testimony of the Church throughout her life.
