Helary Baker indenture
Printed, handwritten and signed indenture. This item is dated on March 8, 1797. It is a contract between George Evans and Daniel Russell regarding the transfer of tracts of land in Kentucky. Baker's signature is affixed to this document in witness to the agreement.
Danford Booth apprentice indenture
Signed manuscript for the indenture of John N. Cadby as an apprentice to Booth to work on his farm in Manchester, New York, until he is twenty-one years of age. Document was also signed by Minerva P. Cadby, mother of John, and witnessed by Henry M. Booth and Rachel A. Morgan. Dated October 21, 1833.
John Campbell indenture with Thomas Boell
Contains an indenture, dated August 27, 1716, discharging Thomas Boells from the service of John Campbell for the sum of ninety pounds. It also grants a portion of land in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to Thomas Boells. The indenture includes the seal of John Campbell, and was witnessed and examined by Thomas Gordon and John Barclay.
