Subseries contains materials from two women who served in the Medical Corps of the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Zelta Walker's file contains her history, letters, and photographs, and Rayola Andersen's file contains the transcript of an interview. The materials detail these women's experiences as U.S. Army Air Corps nurses during World War II. Dated 1943-2003.

Scope and Contents Subseries contains memoirs, interviews, articles, correspondence such as letters and emails, photographs, accounts, newspapers, military records, pamphlets, clippings, books, diary excerpts, and histories from Latter-Day Saint veterans, mainly female nurses, who served during World War II. While most of the female veterans served in either the Navy Medical Corps, Army Medical Corps, or Army Air Corps, some also served in the Cadet Nurse Corps, and one served in the Red Cross.
