Typescript of an interview conducted by Albert Winkler of Brigham Young University's office of Special Collections on 4 May 2001 in Cox's home in Ogden, Utah. Cox talks about his experiences as a Marine during World War II. He was a lieutenant of artillery on Saipan Island during the battle. He and his men were involved in repulsing a banzai attack by the Japanese and in the destruction of two enemy tanks.

Albert Winkler interviewed Rawson on 14 Oct. 1999 at his home in Orem, Utah, for the office of Special Collections at Brigham Young University. Rawson tells about his experiences during the battle of Iwo Jima. He says that his faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was essential to his survival.

Dalton was interviewed by Nancy Woodburn-Watkins in 1937 as part of the Federal Writer's Project for the Works Progress Administration. The item includes handwritten corrections. Dalton spoke of life on the plantation where he was a slave. He also told about his and his master's families.
