Two typewritten manuscripts of the story "Cedar Breaks." Each of the versions contains the fictional story of a Mormon family in Cedar City, Utah practicing polygamy. The story was published in 1976 under the title, "Zion Town."

Two page letter from Susan Ertz to the editor of the Boston Evening Transcript. Ertz wrote the letter in response to comments that had been made in the paper because of her book “The Proselyte” about Mormons. She addresses what she feels are the problems with many books about Mormons and says that there are only a few which are worth reading, which she names. Dated 1933.

It is his attempt to present doctrinal, prophetic, and historical themes of Mormonism through poetry. It begins at the bilbilcal creation of the world and ends with the last days. It was originally published in 1904 without Whitney's knowledge, but revised and published by Whitney himself in 1914. Dated 1914.
