The Zane Grey papers consist of correspondence, legal records, financial records, manuscripts, photographs, ephemera, and other materials. The papers document Zane Grey's personal life, career as an author, and fishing expeditions as well as materials about his wife Lina "Dolly" Grey and children, Romer, Betty Zane, and Loren dating from approximately 1890 to 1990.

Scope and Contents

Photocopies of research materials on Zane Grey used by Thomas Pauly to write the 2005 book Zane Grey: His Life, His Adventures, His women. Includes materials on Zane Grey's world record fish, "My Living Past," written by Zane Grey, correspondence, a Zane Grey diary photocopy, Dolly Grey diary photocopy, and the "key to Zane Grey's Sex Language Code" photocopy. The Zane Grey items where created by approximately 1900-1925.
