A vision
Handwriten "vision." Young was concerned about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and the mission of the first president of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith (1805-1844). While asleep he had a vision in which he was shown the golden plates from which the Book of Mormon was translated. He was also given a sword with which to fight against evil. He was also given an interpretation of the dream. The date of the item is uncertain.

Carbon copy of a typewritten history. Seegmiller writes about the history of the United Order of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Orderville, Utah. The information in the study was furnished by men and women who lived in the area, from Seegmiller's personal memory, and from the records of the United Order.
Voices of Remembrance Foundation oral history collection
Collection contains transcribed interviews of 93 different people conducted by the Voices of Remembrance Foundation at Dixie State College, bound in seven volumes. The interviews occurred between 1968 to 1980, and the transcriptions produced through grant funding by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies.
William Waddoups biography and meeting record book
Materials include a thirty-two page booklet containing a typed biography of William Waddoups, a biography of his wife Elizabeth, and speeches, prayers and songs from William Waddoups’ funeral. Also includes a red hardback meeting record book used when Waddoups made visits to several wards near Lewiston, Utah, likely while serving as a counselor in the Benson Stake Presidency. Dated 1909-1931.
Transcriptions of both items are also included.
William Mark and Olivia Waddoups diaries
Contains the mission and personal journals of William Mark Waddoups and Olivia Waddoups from 1900 to 1958. Diaries discuss William Mark Waddoups' first mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Hawaii, and William and Olivia's missions together to Hawaii and to the Samoan Islands (which also encompassed New Zealand), and their service in the Salt Lake City Temple.

L. Walker letter to Brigham Young
Handwritten and signed letter, dated 28 March 1876, and addressed to Brigham Young, the second president of the Mormon Church. Walker writes to Young requesting trees for outside and indoor planting.
