Contains class notes (holograph, 90 pages) from the Normal Department on various aspects of teacher training. Includes teacher training, rhetoric, theology and physiology with diagrams.

Papers of David A. Squires, including poetry he authored, as well as a manuscript titled "Ventures: Teaching Beyond the Obvious." Also contains memorandums and certificates related to David's teaching career, and photographs of his ancestors. Materials dated approximately 1870-2016.
