Collection includes published and handwritten unpublished musical selections written and arranged by Brigham Young University faculty members.

Materials consist of two lists of the concerts and lectures that took place under the Brigham Young University Lyceum Series during the years 1921-1971. One list is sorted alphabetically, the other chronologically. The lists were created in 2014.

Materials include files concerning music majors, classes, various educational programs and degree programs, and workshops and seminars. Dated 1983-1997.

Contains articles, news clippings, programs, anthems, personal histories, poetry, resumes, transcripts, tributes, song notes, yearbooks, biographical information, school materials, funeral register, and autograph books.

Contains certificates, membership records, diplomas and honorary degrees, friendship bonds, plaques, distinguished service award, and other material.

Contains Madsen's arrangements of hymns and other religious music.

Contains copies of music composed by others, including Drift and Dream, Woodland Calls, and The Master Guides.

Contains manuscript books one and two, and Romanza manuscripts and work papers.

Contains published words and music, just published music, published arrangements, manuscripts of words and music, and vocal and instrumental compositions.
