Anna Mary Ball Frewin autobiography
Typewritten copy of an autobiography. Frewin was born in England, migrated to Utah in 1881, and settled in Salt Lake City, Utah. She writes about Mormon polygamists hiding from federal officials stating, "you couldn't tell whether there was a man or woman coming down the street because the men were dressed in women's clothing with sun bonnets."
Niels Fugal autobiography

William Adams Hickman autobiography
Typewritten excerpts from an autobiography by William Adams "Wild Bill" Hickman. Hickman converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and migrated to Utah in 1849, served as a peace officer in Utah, and raised horses. Also included are excerpts from letters by family members.
Truman Osborn Angell autobiography

Angel converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and supervised a portion of the construction of the Kirtland Temple. He relates faith-promoting stories related to the Kirtland and Nauvoo temples. Also included are patriarchal blessings.
James Samuel Page Bowler autobiography
Photocopy of a microfilm copy of a typescript. The item is a biography of James Samuel Page Bowler written at an unknown date, probably around 1921. Bowler was born in England in 1845 and describes his life as a Mormon in that country. He migrated to Utah in 1880 and settled in Hebron, Utah. He worked as a shoemaker, was elected a justice of the peace, and taught school at Fort Hamblin, Utah. He moved to Parowan, Utah, in 1894 and then to Gunlock, Utah.
Azariah Smith autobiography
Handwritten fragment of an autobiography. The pages are numbered from 10 to 17. The item is believed to have been written when Smith was over 84 years old. Smith writes about his early settlement in Manti, Utah, and his subsequent life there.
William Snow autobiography
Handwritten autobiographical materials. Snow writes about his early life in Vermont, conversion to the Mormon Church, and missionary work. Some genealogy and patriarchal blessings are included. Snow made the overland journey by ox team from Council Bluffs, Iowa to Salt Lake City in 1850. He writes of numerous deaths from cholera, problems with company discipline, and travelling conditions.

James I. Steel autobiography and family records
Photocopy of a handwritten autobiography with family records apparently also copied by Steel. James Steel converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in England and migrated to Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1854. He later settled in Tooele County, Utah. Steel entered into polygamy in 1874. Also included are ordinations and patriarchal blessings of family members. Steel also writes about his visions and dreams.
