Contains draft materials for the 1931 publication of Maya Society publication number 1, including a typed manuscript, printer's dummies, early drafts, galley proofs, a printer's proof, and a paste-up.
This collection contains 22 glass plate negatives of a variety of things, including Mayan symbols and ruins, children canoeing, children playing by a river and in a forest, the Woolworth and Municipal Buildings in New York City, images of Joseph Smith and his residences, the Sacred Grove, the Susquehanna River, Lucy Smith, Oliver Cowdery, David Whitmer, and Martin Harris. Prints have been made from the glass plate negatives for patron use.
