Materials include Chester Todd's Latter-day Saints in the Military Survey completely filled out. Recounts graduating from Army ROTC and was getting called to active duty in January 1941. He didn’t talk at all about actual service during war-time. Mentioned post war conditions in Manila and how he was promoted to Colonel. Dated 2001.

Materials contain the biography of Cleve H. Swenson's service in the Pacific during World War II as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army. Discusses getting injured while scouting and spending sometime in Japan at the end of the war. Also contains Sweson's answers to the Latter-day Saint Military Survey and a certificate indicating Swenson's receipt of the Valley Forge Teachers Medal. Dated 1968, approximately 2000.
