Scope and Contents Collection contains 740 photographs, including 719 prints made by Brigham Young University of 594 negatives and 125 transparencies. The photographs were taken between approximately 1910 and 1929. They are photographs of places throughout Utah. Many are taken in the wilderness, especially in the mountains. Contains over 29,000 items of color transparencies, 35mm and 7x7 cm. slides, black and white negatives and prints taken by Willard Ray Luce Jr. It also contains many original copies of magazine and newspaper articles where Willard Luce's writings and/or photogrpahs appeared. Most of the photographs are of the Western United States landscapes and wildlife which includes insects, animals, and plants. Also included are several books and manuscripts and a bibliography by Celia Luce.
