The first part contains genealogical records for the family of John H. Hayes, spanning the dates 1604-1958. The second part is John H Hayes' autobiography and covers his birth until the year 1924. The third part is entitled, "Bradford Lane History," which was written by John Stoker Davis, who was nephew of Hayes’ wife, Ruth Elizabeth Davis.

Scope and Contents Collection contains materials pertaining to the Sons of Utah Pioneers, particularly the Brigham Young University Chapter, including articles, correspondence, newsletters and magazines, handbooks, and notes.
