Contains information on deceased alumni gathered by the Alumni Association. It consists primarily of obituaries and student information sheets which contain vital information on the deceased. Birth dates, marriage dates, death dates, dates of attendance at Brigham Young University, and spousal and family information should be recognizable by viewing the obituary and included student information of each deceased alumni.

Scope and Contents This collection contains a typed biography on Charles Springer (1658-1738), a transcribed typed letter Charles Springer wrote to his mother, the Springer family lineage dating from 420 C.E. up to 1849, and other transcribed documents, such as will statements. The collection also contains one page with a transcribed typed obituary of John Hiott (Hyatt) (1810-1911) of Kanab, Utah, and a transcription of a news clipping about Hiott reaching 100 years of age. Abstract

Collection of authentic and facsimile "black line" or obituary newspapers. Also included, although not "black line" is a facsimile of the London Times newspaper with George Washington's resignation speech.

Microfilmed journal and other records pertaining to Soren P. Christensen. The records include an ancestor chart, a certificate, a Christmas card from his parents, and obituaries of himself and his daughter. One reel is the master and the other a duplicate.

Abstract

The Thomas Day collection contains Day's journal (1843-1850), an account book (1843-1846), papers, and correspondence relating to his family, most all of which focuses on his LDS mission to England. He served in Lemington, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, and Leicestershire.
