Includes flight logs of George M. Ryan (Ray T. Matheny's maternal uncle) dated from January 1929 to July 1962 documenting his time as a commercial pilot working for Western Airlines and Pilot Meat Service, as well as his time serving in World War II as a pilot in the Western United States.

Julian William Cummings military papers, 1935-2006

Contains materials related to the military service of Julian William Cummings, a pilot during the Second World War. Includes his own typed reminiscences of his experiences and documents pertaining to the publication of his memoir on military service, "Grasshopper Pilot." Also includes several copies of service orders and correspondence, as well as his own military records of physicals and recruitment. Finally, includes documents related to clubs for retired pilots. Dated 1935-2006.
