Scope and Contents This collection contains one small black photo album. The album was made by John F. Bennett for Mr. and Mrs. George Albert Smith in the 1930s. It is similar to other albums put together by Bennett but is uniquely arranged with the Smiths in mind. Bennett used images created by several notable pioneer photographers such as William H. Two holograph volumes in three parts with accompanying carbon and ribbon copy typescripts; typescript and draft of typescript of 1881-1882 diary. Describes his early life in England, missionary work for the Mormon Church in England, his immigration to Utah and accounts of ship passage, overland travel to Salt Lake City, Utah and settlement and life in Sanpete County, Utah. The 1881-82 diary deals with a mission to England. Also includes patriarchal blessings.
