Two pamphlets. The items were originally published in 1849. The items are identical except that one is eight pages larger than the other and has additional material. Adams writes that James Jesse Strang was the true successor to the first president of the Mormon Church, Joseph Smith. Adams also presents material on the founding of that faith.

Small two-leaf pamphlet extracted from a book and taped together, entitled, "A visit to Whittier's Birthplace," and signed, "Titus." Upper right corner has a handrwitten inscription reading, "Compliments E.G. Titus Logan Utah." Inscription on back reads, "WL v1- no 5, Feb-08."

Rosenstock of Denver, Colorado and deal with matters relating to the purchasing of rare books. The brochures and galley proofs relate to rare books that were being offered for sale by various dealers.
